I fucking hate the "pretty woman posing with painting" trend. There are so many women (and some dudes too, but far fewer) who make absolutely shit work but are popular because they own a pair of booty shorts and a tank top. Then all these feature pages go and share their posts like "5 paintings, which is best?" and it's all the same shitty attempt at expressionism by someone who looked at 2 Pinterest tutorials, with them prominently standing next to the paintings, probably fucking barefoot.

Don't get me wrong, this girl in particular is not bad, but let's be real, her stuff wouldn't get so much attention if it wasn't for how pretty she is (and let me make it clear: she is beautiful, fuck I'm so mad about it). But I'm mostly talking about other artists who really are just shitty, but happen to have tits or whatever.

Fuck them and their fucking paint pouring bullshit.

I am too disgusted by this, but we must accept that the majority of the population is hardwired to worship attractive people.
