Yes, you'd be right, if you didn't get the context and scale wrong.
Sure the porn industry is just another industry like the others where the big dogs get to eat while others starve, but we're talking nsfw artists here. If you do everything right you can make a living out of selling smut.
True, there are pirates who will take your content and upload it to other sites, but the counter to that is to cover every site you can, yourself, get verified and either report the stolen content yourself and if you have a fanbase, to ask them to keep a lookout for anything outside of the sites you upload.

Yes and no. A "you're banned because you do nsfw artwork" will likely never happen on a large scale. Like patreon, they won't put you in the spotlight but that's hardly a negative since you shill your patreon outside of the site.
And as far as paypal or others e-payments goes: you'll only get flagged if there is too much activity going on. Even adding 2 e-mails in a row might get you flagged. Blame the real criminals for such precautions.
And unless you're creating nsfw/porn content that questions the morality or you're infringing copyright, you're fine.

Except they won't. Porn art of an existing IP is considered parody and counts as fair use. Of course, as long as you're not taking/using any assets from the people of the IP you're making porn of. And people can report all they want, they won't get any money from that. Besides, there can't be any copyright infringement if you're not directly selling a product.
It's even rare that a companies sues an artist for making a porn of their IP. They cannot officially endorse that and never speak out about that, but they don't give a flying fuck, because it's free publicity and if they were to do something against it, it would only make fans turn against them and their IP.

Don't spam hashtags
You might just get flagged and seen as a bot. Try to be more consistent with tagging 1-4 topics every time you upload.
Upload finished pieces instead of process videos.
I personally care for the process, but i don't think a potential audience will at first.
