This is that Tradd Moore guy that people here love so much is he? I hate this art too. This artist has a great sense of form and can clearly draw well but he doesn't understand economy of detail and has really shit taste. Same problem I see in Geoff Darrow, but Darrow is intentionally goofy and you can see it, this guy thinks he's drawing cool anime.

I think the main thing is that the guy in the bottom right looks like he's being orthograpically projected (I think that's what it's called). High focal lenght basically, while the rest of the scene isn't.
Other than that I think the art is really good actually.

I like the top panel, it reminds me of Urasawa a lot mixed with your own personal tastes.
I don't know what your art looks like, but the guy on the lower right eyes look too close together. I see a bit of that with the guys on the upper panel too, but again I haven't seen other examples of your art. The sternals muscles are extremely thick, the guy looks like he has no neck and its just his back muscles.
Also the line weight of the dead guy should be fixed imo, make it thicker or the same size as your regular lines.

I think the reason why its "uncanny" is because of the lines being too clean and sharp, but you can easily fix that with filters or small blur adjustments etc. to make it look like a manga scan that has subtle jitters when you zoom into the lines. I say uncanny because it looks like manga- but we're used to seeing them one way (scanned and drawn in traditional ink) that it looks "off", but again that can easily be fixed within seconds so don't worry too much.

But overall you're pretty close to making it

The line work has a very sterile look to it. Extreme detail on organic subjects with dead lines generally looks disgusting. Instead of drawing proper brains, moore made a mess of sterile lines. Secondly, his anatomy is unappealing to me. Again, its technically correct and there's nothing he's doing wrong or badly, but its not easy on the eyes to have SO much dynamic poses all the time. Its visual overload - there isnt what i would call a "normal" looking surface anywhere. Every forn or shape is covered in dozens of curvilinear lines that are "NORMALLY" used to define the direction of the surface. Trad just uses them constantly even when there's no reason to. A regular shirt? oh lets just cover it in lines and make the guy look like the fucking michelin man

I can appreciate the skills in this, technically insane and it doesn't even look traditional, but it's ugly. And I don't mean stylistically ugly like Baki, it's an eyesore. I don't like looking at it. Baki is similarly ugly in style but the artist has a sense for composition and the images don't look so retardedly busy for the sake of detail. But the comics are terrible.
I think this guy would be amazing if he didn't try so hard to impress, I have no idea if he chooses the panels in the scripts he draws or someone else is telling him to do it, but judging from the standalone art I think he's the one going for "check out how creative and crazy I am with the micropanels and this page that reads from the bottom up".
That said this is my 2 cents and everyone is entitled to his own taste.

Yeah this is one in a million level of skill, he's got a sense for perspective and accuracy with repeating shapes that is ridiculous. But idk these artists are not my cup of tea. I think the most important thing is that this guy, in the end, can draw, he's got a voice, he makes honest art. I dislike his work but I don't see how anyone can hate on this.
The only real flaw I saw in him is that he gets too busy with detail (though not nearly as much as Darrow) and his comics are hard to read because he wants to be too experimental. Comics should be simple IMO, get complicated with the art but leave the framework simple.

Economy of detail is about handling areas of high and low detail, so that the eyes know what to focus on, and you don't end up with an overload of (pointless) information, which would ultimately flatten the piece.

They're both ways to guide the eye, but they're not mutually exclusive.
