I'm already following Watts Atelier course alongside with Vilppu's, but despite all the negativity you talked about Proko and his ability to draw from imagination, his course is a quite good supplementary for beginner, HD videos, easy to understand and have TONS of reference pictures and real-time drawing videos. Thank you for trying to help me, I really appreciate that. But this is my sharing thread, please go on with your life anon. Have a good day friend.

I draw from imagination most of the time, except for when there's new material we need to study from to understand its forms and redraw it to fit our point of view. The issue with Proko is that he doesn't draw form imagination as much hence his difficulty presented in his video ergo the Proko effect. Studying anatomy and being able to copy from the figure with 100% accuracy doesn't mean shit unless you recreate it from scratch and exercise what you've learned.

Well, if you really need to know, here are some kangas I drew without using reference.
You are right that Proko's course does have some merit for teaching anatomy, and maybe people are too hard on him. That being said, it's a little concerning that he can't draw anything from imagination even though he's studied anatomy so extensively and has some understanding of what construction is. If all you can do is copy, you're limiting yourself to a crippling degree.
