Why are boomer cartoonists such fucking hacks? I mean fucking look at this, how is this acceptable in a professional field, this is worse than capeshit.

In all seriousness though, I don't think the bar for politicartoonists is very high. They just hire anyone that can make a basic illustration and can communicate/shill whatever viewpoint the paper agrees with.

Gary Varvel is probably the closest thing to a decent political cartoonist with honest to God jokes there is that I know of, and that's really saying something.

Normies do not have the time to delve into any meaning and all they want is to be easily and quicly entertained.
You can grow out of the consumer mindset through age but you can't change anything if you age with that.
