After using Cintiq 22HD and then Dell Canvas 27 I've gone back recently to trusty old Intuos Pro M and I've realized how comfy it is

>hand not blocking your view
>perfect posture, no neck pain or hand getting tired since both are in resting position
>no parallax (desu Canvas has almost none)
>better view of the image since screen protector isnt there
>no distortion due to image being horizontal
>no issues with keyboard, left hand is always comfortable
>much faster movement across the screen (especially true for 27 inch, having to move your hand all the way to reach the menus is annoying as fuck)

Its really awkward considering how much money I've invested in both of those screen tablets, but it does feel like working 7-8 hours per day and consistently producing high quality artwork is way more convenient with just normal tablet. Even doing linework feels more convenient with just Intuos desu.

Anyone else here have experiences like this?

I found that with my XP Pen 16 pro I spent too much time worrying about keeping my tool clean and intact instead of just focusing on the image. Something about spending so much money on it made me constantly worry that Ill scratch and somehow, and I polished it before each session. It became OCD like so I decided to use my 60 dollar Huion h610 pro again, and the problem has disappeared entirely since its entirely replaceable and dead cheap.

Oh and my monitor has great colour accuracy, something screen tablets dont always offer.

No because I started with pencil and paper and screen tablets are just more intuitive because it's the same thing.

Tols don't draw, your hand does so whatever is comfy for you is good.

I am perfectly satisfied with screenless and don't get why everyone wants a screenfull.

Must be the sad generation of children raised by ipads or something.

If you do inking and complex manga/comic lineart, screen tablets are the only way.

For digital-looking lineart and painting, screenless tablets are the best.

I like a screenless tablet for the reasons you listed, but I also like drawing on my iPad Pro.

People saying they can't deal with a screenless tablet make me laugh. They're basically saying there's no way they could have made it 10-years-ago when the only option was a Cintiq you had to sell organs for.

i couldn't get used to how i'm not looking at the "paper" while drawing and the disconnect between hand and lines, so i just went and bought a cheap screen tablet
to be honest if you're not a bitch like me, i see very little reason to spend all that money for a screen tablet. screenless is just as viable and in fact many pros use screenless tablets. it's just a matter of getting used to what i mentioned IMO

to be fair don't screenless tablets get scratched and worn out way way faster than screen tablets?
