Imo it's really easy if its just a normie artist. Women tend to draw in thicker lines, color with bright colors, and draw in an exaggerated or cartoonistic way. They also almost always focus on people/animals or Fanart.

Simple if they mostly draw girls it's a guy. If they mostly draw guys it's a girl.

It's not full proof but on average yea you can tell. I mean we've all seen handwriting that is like fuck that's definitely a chick. But the better you get, the closer to realism you get, and that's not style anymore. At that point, it doesn't matter where you started, you're just matching reality. For really good artists, no you have no idea.

I think when you're starting out you can tell. I know this one girl who draws like Pic related. And it's like... Come on. Don't tell me it doesn't look female. Obviously not all but on average I think that women have certain tendencies as do men. You can guess and probably be right more than half the time. Just like handwriting. But the better you get at drawing, the closer to realism you get. You're kind of beyond style at that point. And when they're really good no I don't think you can tell.

Girls draw organic things more often, like plants, animals, landscapes. Guys tend to be better at drawing things from tricky angles, as well as architecture, armor and machinery. These are not strict rules, just something I've observed

Judging from artists I follow, you can be fairly sure that they are female if they draw any combination of the following:
>cute, happy (usually furry) creatures, often related to Pokemon, Animal Crossing or Undertale and often on-model compared to official art
>blood, torture, amputation and death
>prolapses and hyperdetailed genitalia
>rule 63 (most commonly male to female)
>characters eating food or pastries
>sex focued on cunnilingus and face sitting

I'm a female artist whose drawings typically don't get gendered, but I mainly draw lolis.

Probably through reoccurring motifs and themes throughout a lot of their work. Stuff like sex appeal, the ideal, dominance and submission. But I don’t think it’s such a simple subject.
