I've never been able to draw while tripping. I have all my materials ready to go, and then the shit kicks in and there's no way I'm going to try drawing now.

Have tried drawing while drunk before, line quality went to shit and I couldn't see the paper properly so the end result looked like a child's scribbles. Awful and I expect the same from any other drug that fucks up my vision.

I've tried but I'm too obsessed with things looking right that it spills over and gets amplified when I'm high as a kite, so I just end up stopping because I get caught in a loop. I probably should learn to just let loose and be as wacky as I can.

But drawing on LSD micro doses, now that's some Limitless shit right there. My thought process while drawing on a microdose is so much more concise, it's amazing.

Took shrooms once. I drew on the comeup, but the euphoria and deep thinking got very overwhelming and I just went into fetal position during the peak. During the comedown I drew some more, but I was already feeling drained so it wasn't more than a few doodles.
Love weed though for art. It's like a button that puts you in the zone without having to psych yourself out. I can draw for hours with a just few hits every now and then. You just have be careful that you have your stuff ready to go before you get high or else you'll just want to chill instead of work. Always start my stuff until I feel like I want to stop, then I get high and I'm good for another 2 hours.

I've been thinking of doing this myself. Most I do is weed and draw. It helps with my body pain allowing me to sit in my chair for longer periods.

I usually like drawing and painting my dreams because they are the source of my creativity. I want to use nicotine patches because I am told they give you long nightmares.

Psychedelics while on them wont help you draw better, only practice does.
The experience however can help you judge yourself less harshly, end art blocks, be able to form new ideas about things, so i would say psychedelics are good for your art in the end.

I approve of using psychedelics as education and inspiration. I did this on them years ago. My style had a quantum leap from the insights they provided.

They won't work for everyone, but they worked for me.
