I looked at furry porn so I could draw my girlfriend's furry avatar. So yeah I drew a furry and it wasn't even good.

I hate porn artists because a part of me is jealous at the amount of money and recognition they get for just single drawings where as a comic artist can do pages and pages of work and get payed very little and will not be recognized for it.

I like making crude 5 minute trash drawings more than working on serious pieces even when they turn out good.

I haven't picked up a pen, pencil or brush in the last 18 months. I just fantasize about how I'm gonna paint the next day

I bought acrylic paints and those canvas more than a year ago. I haven't touched them yet ever since. I am still looking for the style I will be most comfy with, and I don't know if I ever will find one. And for that, I hate myself for being choosy desu. Also, I rarely even draw.

Or just use Design Doll or photo references. Drawing from imagination is overrated anyway.

I like the aesthetic of 90s anime like ninja scroll, vampire hunter d, ghost in the shell, memories "magnetic rose" and some other anime where the features are more prominent instead of big eyes and a dot nose,
But im terrified of trying to incorporate the style into my work.

Don't do it bro. Your understanding of forms and figures are a lot better than you probably think. Speaking from experience, I traced DD models for a while and the pictures were 'fine,' well enough that no one ever caught on that they were traced from models. But as soon as I gave up the crutch I realized I didn't need it in the first place, and my stuff instantly started looking better than using DD.
