I find epub the best as long as there's no text. The quality is usually better than PDFs (even the 300mb ones). You can extract epub like a zip and just grab the images from there. But if there's text in the epub you're fucked I guess, it's probably extremely difficult to convert to pdf/a zip of jpgs retaining the original margins etc.

Has anyone seen this book in person? Ruo Li's work is amazing, but it''s hard to find images that are over thumbnail size. Give how absolutely terrible his website is (is just looked at it and it appears that he has made the images even smaller than last time), how's the quality of this book? It's some kind of print on demand service and I fear it's a printed collection of shitty jpegs.

What are some good software options for a collaborative translation effort?
I'm thinking adobe acrobat, but there might be other solutions.

I have a scanned artbook in dutch that was never translated into english to my knowledge. I'm thinking of doing it something like this; I'd extract the text with OCR and then run it through google translate as a rough draft. I'd mock up each page (with original text removed) with the translated text put in place. A copy of the original page included for reference. I'd give the translator the file with the rough draft, and he could make edits where necessary.

I guess I could just give the translation guy a raw text file, but I think it'd be easier to see the text in context and if he could edit it directly in the layout it would save some work.

Schoolism courses i did download them have not worked with them yet, i do like some of the New Masters Academy but I very much like the Watts Atelier courses. So that is what i am working with the most.
Watts Atelier is very consistent, he does repeat him self a lot, but the training program is fantastic.

i use them a lot, And have scanned some of my own books and collected artbooks for years now. Mega 40GB is full. I do not like the mega premium and have to deal with the download restrictions so I moved it all to a google drive payed account I have an ipad, goodreader app and make a connection with google drive to open en download books.
I love flipping through the books for inspiration or reference There are some very great books and lesser books.

I learned a lot from the Practial Light series from Jeremy Vickery and the Dorian Itten series.
Both go in depth in the world of color and light. I higly recommend these two. After the lessons the world looked different. There is so much more in the world of shadows and light.

I don't know that there is one, anon.

Jes Goodwin's sketches for what would later become the metal Second Edition Eldar Aspect Warriors first appeared in White Dwarf magazine, and were later reprinted in the Yellow Book (White Dwarf Compilation), along with the First Edition army list. I imagine there must've also been a Jes Goodwin book at some point, though - he gave us Eldar, Saturnine Terminators, and the Eversor Assassin to say the least.
