The day fanart is punished seriously and all these parasites fucking die will be the day art becomes good again. People will only have corporate material to consume so in the downtime between releases they will have to pick some original content to fill the gap. Or do something else like going outside. This gets rid of all the obsessive fandom autists too, since they will get bored, go outside and realize how the real world works. Since there will be a market for original content, skilled creators will start working on new properties. There is absolutely no downside to gassing fan artists, it's a win for the corporations, it's a win for the consumers, it's a win for art.
