I honestly think real virgins either don't exist, or are a vastly over-represented minority, because there is absolutely ZERO chance that you somehow make it through high school without SOMEBODY wanting to fuck you. Everyone wants to jump to being super good at drawing from imagination. But the truth is that comes much later. The artists who are super good at drawing from imagination seem to draw from life just as much as they draw from imagination. The understanding you get from studying/drawing from observation then trying to redraw it from memory is what gives you the ability to draw well from imagination.

Look at James Gurney, he made an entire world from his imagination with Dinotopia and wrote THE book on Imaginative Realism, and yet he paints from life literally every single day because he uses what he learns from painting the real world in his fantasy work. If you want to be really good, the two skills (drawing from observation and imagination) are inseparable.

My senior year of HS, I had to move, so I ended up in a new school and a new state. This one girl at my old school was really into me, and I was into her. Everybody knew it, we knew it, it ended up kind of a running joke in our circles. Things just never ended up working out as most of the time we had other things to worry about or seeing other people. So while we wanted to get together things just never really matched up by the time I moved.
Sometime in the summer in between we kind of just decided to just go with it and do long distance. It was a bad idea of course, but we liked each other enough to go with it. It worked out for the most part.
Anyway, at the new school a ton of girls were really into me since I was the new kid and everybody's dated everybody at that point. Always turned them down since I was already in some type of relationship. I'm sure in hindsight I could have fucked a bunch of them, but I cared about the other girl.
Ended up saving enough money between the two of us over graduation and I took a flight back to where she lived. Things went well for the first week, then just immediately dropped off. Turns out she was cheating on me the whole time I was there. "Broke up" with me by changing her relationship status on facebook while I was on the plane, didn't even bother to tell me. Ended up really messing with me emotionally. I just never really bothered with girls again and decided to just focus on other things like school, art and music. I've had flings and shit with other girls, but any time I get close I end up panicking and dropping all contact, so I haven't gotten very far.

Anyway that's my blogpost.

Trust me if you think being alone sucks, being with another person is an entire new flavor of hell, it'll destroy your life. The truth is being alone sucks and being with someone sucks and that's the flat reality. It's common to have this secret fantasy that once you finally get this relationship you'll be "fixed" but it just doesn't happen. There's a large amount of psychology studies that prove that single people are just as happy as people in relationships and single people who accept they're going to be single are even happier then both, no joke.

As for the virgin thing, you'll realize how little it means when you lose it. It's literally nothing, i was the same as you guys and trust me, i know you wont listen, but it'll change nothing, absolutely nothing.

Besides, probably the best person I've ever known, this chick who was beautiful, a talented artist and a musician who plays sold out shows, was a virgin. Oh it doesn't really bother me. I never really cared much about that sort of thing really in HS either. I just liked having the company and having someone to care about intimately, if that makes sense. I guess I just liked the feeling of being in a relationship with someone more than I cared about getting laid. For me it was about having someone I could connect with emotionally and mentally on a level that you can't have with friends or family. People who caught my eye were rare, which was why I found it to be kind of important if I was with someone. I wasn't about to just date everybody and anybody.

I don't really care about being involved with anyone nowadays though. Too much effort to go out of my way and open up to someone not to have that sort of thing reciprocated. What happened with >>3907951 really messed with me because it was someone that I actually loved on a deep level. They felt the same way about me, or at least I had thought. I'm over her and what happened now, but there's some residual stuff there that messes with me any time I find myself getting close to anyone. I'm not in any rush to get laid or anything, I'm fine focusing on my work and art and stuff, I have enough fulfillment in my life. If things happen great, if not no biggie. It's not some cloud hanging over my head.

I suppose strictly speaking i cannot truly know, but you choose to either trust your friends or not trust them and i trust her. That's how it is with everyone. Plus she definitely doesn't know what she's doing in that area from what I've seen.

It ain't such a crazy phenomenon, i go to art school so I've met a decent cross section of weird people. You'd be surprised how many beautiful, talented people are virgins for various reasons like they're shy/don't go out.

These three. Though, to be fair, the medication is all just anti-convulsants and the seizures are so much worse off them (incidentally also why I'm NEET, not safe in a workplace.) And I've had this ear-worm since 1995 and I don't do anything without background noise, not even sleep.
