Hard round for everything is a meme. Tell me what kind of brushes did he use to paint this. On the left thumb and some other parts there's a very clear hard round but other parts are way too textured to be a default brush.

It's almost like everyone says, know the rules to then break them, huh?

Ironically, whoever painted that could benefit from switching to the hard round for a couple of months.

Probably an "edited" or "modified" hard round. Still a hard round.

Nah whoever did it sells commissions, this was a rushed painting for fun that's why it's blurry in many parts

You really don't need any kind of crazy brushes
A square shape brush with whatever random gritty texture and an airbrush for soft bits
Adjust the size and opacity as you work
There's few occasions where you might need a brush for dust (lots of little particles) or something really clean and crisp
You don't need a brush for every occasion

>Tell me what kind of brushes did he use to paint this.
Hard flat textured brush, and unironically hard round one,
>a default brush.

For the love of cocks don't use the default brushes for anything, not even the round one, even the default round one is bad.
Photoshop's brush set is more of a placeholder (here could be your brushes) but it isn't usable for anything.

Many popular artists share their brush sets, find one it will usually have a set of the most shit you need
>round pressure=opacity
>round pressure = size
>brushy textured ones
>fluffy clouds
>something gritty for concrete or texture
etc.
fund so pro's shared pack and enjoy it.

Did you just write that you should use CLOUD brushes? hahahahaha

Not only that, but I figured out my own technique to make extremely fluffy cloud in PS with it's mix brush tool and the "cloud" brush.

This is called "hiding behind the mess" the dirtier the lines and strokes are the more room for imagination and the viewer's brain sees the picture better than it is.

Hard round, chalk, bristle, and some custom texture/pattern brushes.

I don't know who did this but I now hate that artist personally. This picture is hurting me on physical level.

the edges would unironically be much nicer if they stuck to hard round. some of the wet edge usage is kinda cool though

>Hard round for everything is a meme.

It's a stock response people give because they want you to fuck off and stop asking about their brushes. Of course, there is some truth to it, but it's not the full picture. If you need to ask about brushes you're likely a shitter who has no business worrying about brushes when your fundies are a disaster.

I guess you could also say that a squared brush is a sharpened round brush.
