Im kinda fed up with the amount of smug shit here like i know its 4chan and i love it but its horrible for actual art discussions.
There is people here that are actually wanting to grow as an artist but is exposed to all this garbage and misinformation.There's People feeling that they have to use this because there arent that many good sites for art discussion. I think its time to build a new site or do something about what we have. Like its 2019 and we still have no good solid site for art discussion that isn't dead or filled with weebs wanting to draw but dont draw and spread crap about loomis and backed by anonymity they pose as people that know their shit... does anyone else agree or am i reaching
Bottom-line i love 4chan and you guys but we need to forge a better place for growing artists

/ic/ is best used as an area to share resources. By the very nature of this site what you're suggesting just isn't realistic as there is always a few guys who are only on a board for the (you)'s or to fuck up others. Just share books, brushes, inspiration, reference, and perhaps tutorials/info images and use them to grow, it may not be the community you seek but it's still a good source of knowledge regardless.
