I will be trying to push out the Tribunal patch sometime by the end of this weekend.

I reflected upon it a bit, and I am going to make the administrative decision of purging the Pii account and Kanji account shortly. One goes without saying. However, to the extent that people want to use DAD as a simple habit tracker, I need to put my foot down here and make it exceedingly clear that the objective here is the pursuit and cultivation of productivity in the visual arts. To that end, having other participants operating in a similar capacity to those two users will distract from the overall objective.
The two reasons I have tolerated these two instances is because, first, it does not impede my own progress. Secondly, they were isolated and singular instances. There has only been one instance of shitposting, and only one instance of someone using the site outside of its intended purpose. However, if it's not ok if many people do it, it doesn't make it alright if only one person is doing it.
I cannot on a consistent basis manage the DAD site on a content-administrative level, and thus, the implementation of a tribunal will aid me in the continued self-moderation of the site, freeing me to have more time to do development and work on my own art.

Kanji, as a courtesy, I am giving you one week to save whatever records you want of your learning before it gets nuked. There are plenty of places to manage your language learning habits and other things, such as Habitica and Habit List. There are several discords and communities that exist, geared towards learning Japanese kanji. But this is not the place for it.

Lastly, congratulations to our year-round artists, bunnyburger, meru, Kirikae, gottagitgud, echo, VuSta! A bit of fanfare will be given for this achievement in a coming patch.

Hm, what about a dynamic sketching challenge? It's already split in weeks and I can link to the videos already posted online. Could be a good chance to critique each other and up our drawing game. I've already sent tarted week 1 + 2 and it's quite efffective. And the homework and tasks are already given. It'd have to be a daily streak based one though.

It'll have to be a bit more structured that just "three months, pick three books and go through them", also challenges that require non-free reading/viewing materials aren't allowed last I heard.

Banana is too much of a pussy to have challenges that would ask users to actually use pro-tier materials for study. I understand that he wants challenges that everyone could join (even moralfags that are too poor to buy and too pure to pirate them), but IMO it backfired. I completely lost interest in challenges when he implemented that rule. Good tutorials simply cost money and following bad tutorials (aka majority of tuts that you could base your challenges on) is a waste of time in comparison. Look at the draw a box challenge: nobody have improved in any significant manner. It proves how free tutorials are made by ISIS and how much they suck.

In USA it takes 95 years for books to join public domain. We still have to wait: Fun with a Pencil (1939), Figure Drawing for All It's Worth (1943), Creative Illustration (1947), Successful Drawing (1951).

Currently those books are owned by publisher Titan Books. If you want to legally have them, then buy them instead of downloading those books from a page that lies about them being in public domain.
