You know, sometimes it doesn't feel like there's anything to live for. Day by day, it feels like life takes a little something away from me and I have to work twice as hard to get it back. That faint glimmer that I held in my eyes when I was half my age right now, that fervent hope that I could make my life some grand adventure; that's all but lost.

I have nobody but myself to blame. I am chronically unable to adjust from being a child. I can't handle the inexorable fact that time will pass day by day. I hate the grand schemes I've invented for myself that will never come to fruition due to fear and sloth. I hate how I shed bitter, childish tears over relatively trivial matters while people with real problems are digging through my trash trying just to survive. I hate myself so much that the only reason I continue living is because I so very much love what this life could be. I love all the beauty in this world, and I hate the wretchedness of myself that occupies it, and the lack of capcity to contribute to that beauty. Hell, I can't remember the last time I've looked in a mirror and liked the person I saw standing across from me.

I want to live so badly but I don't think I know how.

Tarzan is incredibly impressive in how it was animated and the methods they use for what I think is called "Character animating". Search for the behind-the-scenes on youtube, its fascinating, like how they made Tarzan move as certain animals do to show how he imitated his habitat.

Other than that, hard for me to say, its not really a secret 2D animation took a fucking nosedive in the west. If you like explosive dynamic animation check out anything by Yutaka Nakamura and Yoh Yoshinari. The latest Broly movie has pretty crazy cool action sakuga too. In fact half the movie is a fucking sakuga.

I’m trying to wrap my head around 3 point perspective but it’s just really hard for me to understand. I bought a book but the book doesn’t explain it well either and YouTube just shows me how o draw buildings.

Any tips for understanding it better? I can draw the grid just fine but when the author says to “taper” it towards the zenith or nadir I don’t understand.

The book I got is freehand freedwaring for illustrations.
