I'm not the guy who posted about getting it before, but I own this. Its a very nice book (the text is retarded though) and I don't regret the purchase, but I'm fairly certain you can find most of the images online with a little bit of digging.
I dont own a scanner but I'll see if I can get access to one at my campus. There's at least one that I know of but it's in a very busy computer lab so I don't wanna hog the scanner for an hour. Ain't promising anything, but I'll see what I can do.

Not that anon, but I watched an unboxing video for his 2018 sketchbook and the dude said there were no lewd drawings in that one. I think his publishers are pushing him to draw clean shit. I can only hope there'll be an Omphalos 2 somewhere down the line.

Yeah it's probably something you can fix in lightroom. The image quality is about the same at 300 and 600 dpi but i usually scan with more reduction which takes a few more seconds on the 220 and the 220 is a lot louder. You could just go for the 300, the 400 lets you scan at higher dpi but honestly nothing about 1200 looks good anymore on cheap scanners like these, 300 and 600 is usally the best. I only really got the 400 because it was on sale.

I often see KJG put in comparison with Terada and, IMO, Terada plays a completely different league. His book Rakugaking, which is just a sliver of his sketching work is 1000 pages and, even if I owned it for almost 16 years, I flip through it from start to end every time I open it because every page has a different thing drawn on it, with a different idea, a different type of pen stroke, a different anatomy, when I look at KJG's sketchbooks I am bored after 50 pages because it's the same stuff over and over: tactical gear military/person with an animal head/ vaguely fetishistic drawing of women/vehicles and it pisses me off because every once in a while he does something that makes me think "why can't he do this things more?" and then he gets so repetitive he bores me to death. He’s so good but his art is just an endless masturbatory act.
I actually think that Terada too has fallen a bit off of his past inspiration since he started doing the pot headed girls and does a Giant Robot show every year, but he gave us so much throughout his whole career, while KJG has been around for about ten years and he was already boring around the time the second sketchbook came out.
