The only problem I see is her arms are both way too short. It would be hard to describe the length I think they need to be in text so I'd just suggest finding a reference image of that pose.

Your forms are beautiful. The subtle lines do a lot to contribute to that. Though I know why you did it, the thick black outline is kind of distracting when its such a pitch black and even dark points like the mouth, eyelashes, and pupils are all brown. You might want to make it a little brighter. I also really like how great you convey a sense of volume, but the seashell seems kind of flat in comparison to everything else.

This is another quick thing i did for practice. Although I start to fear that i'm an adept to the same face bs. I try to avoid it but as everything else it's a matter of time and practice i guess.

I don't have a specific workflow to be honest, i experiment a lot for now, but for this one i went into shading with light values followed by a more high contrast shadow. You can best see it on the arm. After i'm done with the basic idea of pinpointing the light i make a new top layer and start overpainting to cover up some of the lines and make small adjustments. Also i tend to add in the shadows area some lower saturation color where different forms meet

Your shading is a bit too chaotic. The placement of all the shading is fine, I just mean the actual way you did it... Does that make sense? I'm drunk off my ass. She shading could be more clean in some patches. Also her eye in the shadows shouldn't be as bright as it is.

The knee ball joints and calf could be better defined. Her knees look like sneakers a bit. The hatch work looks find in places like, the pedestal or the noose. It's probably the messiest on the girl's clothes and on the right two(?) dolls. The one that's headless and the one to the left... Can't really tell if there's a doll between the headless one and the one with the mask in the back.
Looking at the dolls more, it is hard to make out some things. Such as, the doll on the back left in the mask. It's hard to see more than her head and right arm and maybe her torso.
The piece as a whole is really nice, just a bit messy is all. Here's to you anon!! Still fucking love how flat the masks look on the dolls. Probably my favorite part of the piece.

That being said, he's probably going for the look of the actual anime rather than copying the artstyle of Yoh Yoshinari's illustrations.

I'm not actually good at this, so don't copy this, but I think you can see my point. also i think that if you choose to go with that style of drawing, you should choose between thick but closed lines, or thin but open. I may be wrong though, that sounds like a personal opinion.

And I like the drawing a lot, especially the face, but that line art actually distract me from the drawing itself. I think you'd gain a lot buy working on it a bit, it'd jump from okay to actually good.
