Feel similarly about it, but they're imaginary characters it doesn't bother me. I use "Waifu" as a joke term of endearment, one that doesn't have any actual weight and refers more to a character I find attractive than would want a relationship. I don't think it's strange or a dad to think his daughter is attractive in a general sense.

That being said, if I were to ever have a daughter and name her after one of my characters, it would immediately end me using Waifu in reference to the character because she's, in a way real now, and I'd immediately become disgusted at the thought.

My waifu is my OC and I draw pictures of me and her doing lewd and non-lewd stuff together all the time but my drawings are pretty bad. It still gets the idea across, though, and I can spend the rest of the day fantasizing about the scene I just drew in my mind. Maybe some day I will be good enough to draw higher quality pictures of us.
