Anyone else struggling to draw in this cold weather? My hands and fingers don't work properly in the cold

Do you have Raynaud's disease by chance?

There are one use or resuable hand warmers you can get in different stores. For example in Decathlon (I'm from Spain) you can get a pack of 30 for like 10 eurobucks and last really long.

Other than that, sit on your hands from time to time, that's what I usually do

Yes I do have problems with it. Seriously, do you need an electric heater or something?

Yes OP I get that when its cold, but its mainly because you are also sitting and stationary; its annoying because it feels as though having cold hands handicaps your motor skills for any dexterous or precision requiring activity like drawing, guitar, gaming etc. Hand warmers and hot mugs of whatever are a nice temporary feel-good solution but you are only warming the surface of your skin. I'd recommend doing some push ups/pull ups or any on the spot exercise because that'll get the blood pumping to your extremities and your hands will soon feel warmer and for longer. Wrist stretches like pic related also help a lot, and if you do have a hot drink, something I regularly do is hold my wrists against the mug, because the heat dilates the blood vessels which increases blood flow to your hands and surface of your skin. Do these things and your hands should just feel normal.

You may need to get more iron too if your hands are always cold.

I actually used to experience this but now its gone. id have days were my fingers would struggle to move properly in my first year and a half.

I'd have this excuse "My fingers don't work" and I just wouldnt draw on those days. People would think i was bullshitting.

This is no longer the case however, so I think yours might disappear with time as well.
