i have the oportunity to go to study visual arts but i will need to go to another city that i hate and is far from my family and friends. i dont know what to do

the other option is to study maths in the town where i live
i really love art, my dream is to become a great artist, but its seems that i have more talent for maths, and i am not sure if the place were i can go will be decent, maybe i can continue with art while i study maths but i am afraid i will not have time

answer is obvious then. just do math and learn design on the side. design doesn't require you to be the best artist in the world and you can hop from your STEM job to a design job if you ever get the chance. do your comic on your own time for fun, don't turn it into a job.
