Face positioning makes me suspect you didn't study faces and just tried to make it look like the anime, BUT it's still fine depending on how fast you can draw something like the right one. If it's less than 1 hour then congrats. I mean I'm sure there's still polishing to do after drawing it, but I'm talking about the base, it's a decent level if you can do it quickly, it's just a front view after all.

I'm not surprised in the least by this. I've been a lazy ass but studying the right stuff and I've made a ton of progress in the past year. But I could've definitely gotten to the point where I was drawing the bottom stuff by now.

Thats fucked, I do 3D for a living and it looks like he probably got it off turbosquid or asset stores, and anime models are dime a dozen online simple to get.

So not even developing his 3D as a skill is pretty bad, but outright skipping the fundamentals of drawing and just doing paintovers with half the work done for you is like a mortal sin to me.

I could just as easily make 3D backgrounds of any drawing i wanted even as a persective blockout. But wheres the challenge in that, or the fun or the potential of failure.
