I think it should only be if they're engaging in explicitly sexual acts, like sex or masturbation. Half of DAD is the motivation of a streak, and half is seeing your progress (and the progress of others) since you(they) started. Deleting galleries might help motivate people who are just starting and are intimidated by big galleries/streaks; but at the same time it would remove the motivation of seeing someone with a big streak and then seeing their old work vs. their current work and seeing a timeline of progress.

Alright, besides some minor weirdness with the CSS as far as the footer goes, everything seems relatively stable.

As I've said before, the pace of development is going to speed up. Since I work at a place where I program almost exclusively in Ruby, this empowers me to clean up my garbage code and replace it with better stuff. In an effort to preserve the longevity of this site, which should act as the "final" LAS, I may be drafting up a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and also focusing future development on greater engagement between DAD users, and between DAD users and the trajectory of development.

I generally consider myself pretty laissez-faire when it comes to site management / moderation. LAS / DED had users that shitposted and people who submitted sub-30 minute work. Sure. In the end, you're only cheating yourself.

However, I will remind you that content settings are to be observed.
Questionable means that the work may contain minor amounts of nudity, but is not of an erotic nature. All life drawing studies fall into this category, as with anything that falls between the PG13 - R barrier.
Explicit means the work either contains extreme graphic violence, was created with erotic purpose or contains other adult content. In certain cases, non-erotic material may be more appropriate to file under explicit.

This is actually a rule that I will uphold (especially if things that are flagged as "safe" are actually not so). Abide by it by correcting your submissions now and accounting for it in the future or I will actually carry out punitive action, regardless if you are a legitimate participant or a shitposter.

The minimum of 140 characters is part of a philosophy I had in general with regards to internet discourse as a whole. You'll notice that it's the same as the maximum character count for a Twitter post, and that's because I've long held the view that encourages knee-jerk reactions and garbage-tier discussion on anything. Part of the reason why I fucking hate Twitter (but then again, I hate almost all forms of social media). Setting this as a minimum is my way of ensuring people don't drop a "hey that looks cool" or "your nose looks shit". It forces you to take a step back and articulate your praise for the work, the nuances of each point of criticism, as well as your responses to this feedback. I want to encourage strong, meaningful discussion.
I may, MAY consider a slight decrease in character limit, but for the time being, this is sort of an experiment.

People who follow an artist will receive notifications when that artist makes a submission, loses their streak or earns a badge.
The artist will not receive any notifications, for reasons along the same veins as why we don't have a view counter. The goal is to improve, not to fish for attention.
