A bit of a random question, but what are other anons' thoughts on using heart symbols in lewd artwork? I'm talking things like adding heart pupils, drawing clusters of "<3"s around a character experiencing pleasure, or using hearts as punctuation in dialogue.

I've personally always found it cute and think it can enhance the message of a piece, but I've had others tell me that it can look 'tacky' or dumb. This might seem pretty inconsequential, but in my work, I'd like for it to apppel to a wider audience; so what are your guys' thoughts?

when i was drawing the left pic, i was copying your eyes/nose, but then i added the kind of mouth i like, anime with fangs trying to keep your style as a base, that didn't worked well. i was kinda proud of that render until i posted here and got roasted.

i was drawing right one always avoiding the head in general because i was a bit afraid of messing that, i spend 2 hours at least trying to figure out how to do a "nice" head/face, until i tried to do just a more cartonish head, inspired by western artist (gloss, eigaka, tales silva) and i really like the result.

there are a lot of artists that render really good bodies but then they just slap an anime head over it (asanagi for example) you should try that.

That tongue xray shot is absolutely horrifying in a way that seems intended - it's a very interesting concept. I like the contrast between the dark shadow over the figures and the bring yellow background. It creates a fun mood, and the peachy tone in the yellow keeps it from being too too jarring.
Compositionally it seems like the xray shot is shoehorned in, so it feels a bit out of place. I'm not sure if that matters here, though, since a lot of hentai artists do stuff like that.

The hatching just needs to go entirely. Hatching is usually used to imply age, rough texture, dramatic shadows, etc-- you are using it here as shading- which is odd because you already have colored shading. On the topic of shading, you need to pick a light source, right now you are pillow shading. Ex: The under boob shadow implies a light source in front of her but there are dark lines on the front of either leg. I couldn't do it in my edit mostly because I'm a photoshop noob, but you should try colored lineart. For beginning, just make the outline a darker shade of whatever it is touching. Look at art you like and study/copy the lineart.

You need to work on your anatomy as well. Remember to sketch the body first and the boobs last. I think this is what led to your incredibly short torsos -- you drew massive boobs that hid the most of it. If you look at this drawing and imagine the boobs gone, you will see what I mean.

Gradient hair looks lazy, especially when the translucent(or just white maybe?) bangs have harsh black outlines. Look at how a lot of Japanese artists draw Rem & Ram's hair, often times they will end their line art at the bangs to suggest the hair thinning to meet the color of the skin behind it. I hope that makes sense...

I didn't fix this but it's a common mistake I see when people draw ponytails. Ponytails are tied directly behind the head, so how her head is positioned you shouldn't be able to see where it ties.

Tone down the blushes, this girl looks like she has an insane rash. The color of her boobs would only be coming through the leotard that much if it was wet- if that's the case, add some wet glossy shininess. I would drop the pussy redness entirely as it looks like she's menstruating. Gl with future work anon, your art has a lot of potential but right now I hate to tell you that it's very unappealing to look at. Removing even just the hatching though would improve this by several points.

I think the thing that stands out to me the most is that it feels a little stiff. If this is a sketch (and I'm assuming so cause it's at a low opacity), then don't be afraid to be a bit more expressive and quick with your strokes. Preserves the fluid feeling of the figure.
Also, anatomy nitpicks. The abs feel flat, like you know where they're positioned and roughly what they should look like, but you're not sure which parts to emphasize to bring out the form. The roundness of the right boob feels a little stiff. It makes sense that it's overlapping with the other one, since her arm is smooshing it up, but making that relationship more clear would be good. Also, I think the lighter green mound shape is more natural and believable than the darker one you laid over it. Subtlety is valuable with the cleft.

This was done as a free public request on my stream. It took me about 2 hours I think.

I draw about 30 pics every month. Varying from sketches, like the one you quoted, to more polished stuff, like the pic in OPs collage.
Usually patreon creators offer like 5 pics per month on average, from what I saw.

But that in the end probably doesn't even matter that much. People usually support creators on Patreon because they like them and their art. Putting out a lot of good (this is a very relative term when it comes to art btw) content helps you to get new people on board. In the long run they stay because of you as a person and an artist, not because you polish your stuff.
And if patrons aren't happy, then it's better for them to leave. That makes both their lives and your own much easier.

I'm afraid that's not possible. I mean, if you spend less time on an artwork, you'll inevitably have to make sacrifices in quality.
But the more you draw and the more you get used to certain workflows, the faster you become. It's a pretty natural process. I however don't know if there are any shortcuts to get faster in a quick fashion.

Most of the time people give me reference poses or describe what the scene should look like. I just draw that.
Rarely, when I am given full freedom or I work on random non specifically requested stuff, I just 'go with the flow'. I start with a random part of the body (usually, pelvis, torso or head) and then I just add elements as I go. It can be a very relaxing experience.

Oh, something I forgot to mention. I think there is one thing you can do to develop speed. Try to draw many quick artworks instead of spending a lot of time on fewer pieces.
Draw, finish the whole thing, check what is wrong (after taking a break to get a fresh perspective on it) and then, even if it's not perfect, move to the next one and apply what you learned from previous mistakes.
At least if you have the luxury of doing so.

You have drawn the tits and the penis as we see them from below, but the head looks like it is seen from directly in front of her - get what I mean? I hope I explained it well enough. Basically we should see less of her neck and the chin should be slightly covered by the breasts/torso? depending at what angle she is tilting her head. Also she doesn't seem to be looking at the viewer which again, is below her. If I didn't explain myself well I can try to redline it for you

Overall though I like your drawings and I think there's some skill in here but the two things I'd say to fix: first is the jittering-ness? of the lines, I'm not sure if it's intentional but it looks like your tablet's settings are screwed or something. Don't remove it if that is your thing, just tone it down a little perhaps
And the second thing, I see you like drawing futa a lot, but the lines under the penis shaft are a bit jarring. It looks like you're either trying to shade that area or add a ton of wrinkle/texture to it. Again I wouldn't remove it but tone it down instead

Yes, the extra subtlety of the collarbones and smoothness of the shoulders helps significantly. The clavicles definitely do the weird inverse thing. I think something mildly odd is that the shoulders don't follow the direction of the ribcage, I think that makes the upper body flow less.

I sort of have a feeling of what you mean, however while radiohead takes some liberties in stylizing the giant penises he draws, the lines in his work have a purpose to show sort of a soft edge between the planes instead of a straight line which would be unnecessary
