The beat is actually alright, I was pleasantly surprised. Then I heard you rap...oof. Even Eminem doesn’t say nigga lol, you’re not getting a pass if you try showing this to anyone my man. Other than that there’s no flow or emotion in your delivery at all. It sounds like you’re just reading the lyrics off of a sheet instead of really spitting them. You should break it down line by line and think about which words you want to place emphasis on, how you’re gonna flow from one bar to the next, etc. also work on your clarity and enunciation, the words should be very clear and easy to parse. There should be more confidence In your delivery as well, right now it seems like you’re sitting hunched over in the corner whispering bars into your iPhone 4 while your gf is getting fucked in the next room. I’d recommend studying how someone like Earl Sweatshirt, MF Doom or maybe Aesop Rock compose their rhymes and rap. Or really whoever else you’re into. But yeah, the beat was decent albeit repetitive. I’m sure you’re delivery will improve if you keep practicing. Keep at it Brian.
