I don't have a job. I recently turned 18 and plan on going to college. My mother said I would be getting a part time job but that was only brought up once. I'm sure I can change her mind if I start bringing in commission money. Im not taking commissions yet but I plan to soon. I mainly just want popularity and followers. I want to be praised. I didn't say that you couldn't live off art or that everyone treats it purely as a hobby. Just that treating it like another job is probably a shit mindset, because then it stops being art and becomes just that, another shitty job. Most of the time there's a CLEAR divide between the look of concept art, art teachers or patreonwhores artworks and art made by people working on their own projects that happen to be successful.
