Youtube is different because youtube has a system of bots that can detect things instantly and answer immediately, you do not need to hire a lawyer and go to court and all the shit. You just send a pre written copypasted E-mail written and sent by another bot, to youtube to issue takedown and BAM it is done. No living human person is doing anything in this process, save for maybe pressing the go button but I would doubt even that. Youtube's system is absolute shit btw and many abused this for a long ass time.

So yeah, it's subjective because you decide on your own whether or not its a turd, but it makes no sense to call scribbles a polished turd because not enough time was spend to consider it polished. You could say you would be polishing a turd to continue working on a piece though. Well that's my uneducated opinion, maybe just the idea that you can polish anything, and anything can be a turd, makes anything a polished turd, but that would be the same as arguing over one persons right to decide what art is good or bad.

tldr: saying something is a polished turd is slang for saying you dont like it, but TIME was spent on it, not that it's pretty.
