I love lithography it is technical and beautiful medium. Has anyone here tried it? If drawing is your primary medium, I highly recommend it. Drawing on a litho stone is unlike any drawing surface.

I had a lithography class in college and sure the drawing part was nice but polishing the damn stone for an hour and the whole hassle with preparing it for print was too frustrating and overall not worth it

That's point of the whole process you get to know the litho stone, and through that, you make amazing pieces. Graining a stone is hard work but learning how to draw is also hard work as well. I wouldn't say that it is not worth it, because anything that has value has the process of hard work. Its the pross of making art that is gratifying and yes the final product is nice, but to immerse yourself in the creation of art is one of the most beautiful things.

Oh idk dude, you seem very idealistic. I'm just in it for the money ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How many pieces you can print with one stone, 8-10 tops before the drawing gets damaged?
