I don't know if you want general art and style advice or advice on the design. I think in both cases, its extremely masculine. The character looks like a tranny. That face is way too angular.

In terms of general art advice, if your style involves the shoulders connecting at the center of the ribcage, you gotta adjust your style. And the torso and lower body dont look connected, they are on different planes.

I think it's a pity that you have a character with a flaming head and you give it some sort of pistol as weapon, design wise. Why not make use of that design choice? Give it some flame oriented weapons like molotovs, dynamite, something that needs an igniter. Best if you can come up with something that works alongside it's characteristic design but it's still surprising.

Her legs might be a tad bit short, but it's difficult to tell. I'm trying to judge versus the hanging length of her arms but they don't read as a consistent length to me. Her arm grabbing the sword reads as much shorter, with the length disparity coming from the forearm. If you intended it to be foreshortened, the position of the elbow to the viewer doesn't support it.

Yeah, I went to the mirror and the elbow should come towards the viewer from that angle, else to see the upper arm like so I would have to turn the torso towards the view, so the foreshortening is wrong at the elbow. Taking note of that. Maybe the arms are the issue and that's why the legs look weird in contrast.

I tried a bit more vertical sword on the original but it felt it red poorly and worked against the main idea. You have this balance feel on what she is doing, is like a game, so the sword is a symbol for mastery and trust, you know how when you trust something you put your back into it? A vertical sword would balance on the tip which could work but would be very frail but you make like a tent, so the weight is better distributed, back against back.
The pose is not supposed to be natural but fun, you know like in comics when someone carries some object with ease yet they give it to someone else and it weights a fuckton and they go down baffled? That's the same idea, she fooling around. Also this allows to try more dynamic poses for stationary situations which I love. I don't mind it's unnatural if it's fun to watch at.

I don't get the same kicking feel that you do, when you kick something intentionally you bend your knee with your femur straight or pull it back for force. She's more in an in between, that foot is on the sword, maybe i'd have to push the occlusion so it reads better on that point. And lol, I practiced the pose myself, that's how I corrected the arm holding the shaft from the initial version, I do not have a massive slab or something tall and weighty I could put myself against to check the legs, so those are guesses.
