you are probably the most sensitive, considering you try to evade every crit you get

desu, getting a bad crit or getting trolled is the fastest way to lose motivation

I know mine is shit so doesn't hurt all that much

Not at all when it comes to /ic/. My partner crits me hardcore. I bitch and complain, but afterwards suck it up and fix it. It's become easy to sort the sort of crits here by usefulness, I take everything with a grain of salt.

I remember getting 60% on a modelling assignment in my highschool's art class. It was by far, my most embarrassing art related moment. I may or may not have cried.

Yes I'm pretty sensitive.

I feel that. 4th year university for me, I may or may not have also cried.

Almost out of school, had 3 great years, whole future ahead, will get a job soon.

Submit project, entire class just ripped into me. Was told my stuff looked like crap, lazy or like a first year made it. Then afterwards it seemed like every following project got the same reaction, and it confusing and frustrating, because in the previous three years no one said anything.

Life goes downhill, sensitivity goes up.

>getting so good to the point people actually critique you
That's progress.

it's good to purge motivations,
that way you can potentially find an authentic motivation that'll take you where you need to go.
Like me personally I want people to like my original art, more than my fanart.
This is a worthy goal imo. It takes a lot of skill and patience to pull that off.

depends on who is giving the crit

if hayao miyazaki didn't like my jello zombies id probably cry

I will try not to look at my works that were published online because I know I would pull my face in shame the more I looked at them
