im just a regular dude trying to art

I’m a guy who likes to keep to himself and work on my own stuff behind the scenes but also wants to have a few active friends to get feedback from whenever I post my stuff. I like my art but it bums me out when it doesn’t get any stupid pointless hearts on twitter.
I switch between total hermit mode and full on shill constantly. Usually hermit mode is triggered by my best efforts to socialize pretty much falling flat. I’m just not good at working a crowd up. High enthusiasm doesn’t work. Silliness didn’t work. Full on sincerity didn’t work. Being depressed didn’t work. I do know there are people who talk shit because I mentioned voting for Trump but I haven’t posted political stuff in two years so I don’t use that excuse anymore. I do wish I knew what my problem was though. Maybe I’ll just go back into my hole again. I guess I could finally work on how to draw cars. Been putting that off...

I actually hate this when looking for artists for their art. Usually it's memes and stuff I'm not interested in anyways. It's clutter and reason why I don't do it myself.
