I have two alienwares

I would post a picture of mine, but it's a disaster zone, so I will describe the points of interest.

I have a desktop. There is a wide screen, an older model Wacom Intuos, a keyboard, and a mouse to the left side of the desk. To the right, there are three custom stuffed cats in the likeness of my deceased cats, a stack of half-finished sketched, my fountain pen, a permanent marker, some Staedler and Figma ink liners, a sheep's hipbone I've been practicing bone etching on, and a set of Blackwing pencils.

On the top shelf is two sketchpads, a set of paintbrushes, the ink for my fountain pen, and a set of Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours which is half used up.

The clutter includes, but is not limited to: two tape measures, an opened money tin, a lint brush, three dog toys, a folder of medical documents, two hats, my wallet, three paper bags from the pharmacy, an old newspaper, my glasses case, a wad of Blu-Tack currently in the shape of a cube, three ringbinders, a half-dozen letters I've been putting off opening, and about a hundred Post-It notes on every surface covered in everything from doodles to cheat codes to the hours I've worked this week, several bells of differening sizes, and a button with a little blue penguin on it.

i've had the cintiq pros before, just not a fan of the 13/16 inch ones because on a desktop workspace gets really cramped while the ipad has a minimal UI with artstudio/procreate and the best touch controls.

vertical monitors are great for books and yeah references, absolutely enjoyable to use when reading articles and browsing even /ic/ on. give it a shot.

I converted a room in our house to a mini studio, over the summer. Bought a cheap table from an ikea that can tilt, a chair and a lamp. I am also planning on getting a side mini drawer like >>3641404 anon has, plus more material for drawing. But for now this is good enough.
The only problem i keep having right now is things keep falling of the table, so i made a ghetto solution and tied up couple of rubber bands and a stick a clip in the end of it and thats how i keep things from falling over, but still make things rearrangeable. Rate my setup /ic

Background is from an artist named Noah Bradley. The keyboard is just a generic "gaming" keyboard from amazing, but the brand is DBPower. Some of the keys squeak when pressed, and there's no body to speak of so it's hard to pick up without mashing a bunch of them. It has 3 colors it can cycle through; red, blue, and purple.

Mouse is Tecknet, I believe it's Chinese but I'm not sure. It constantly cycles through a bunch of colors, which you can't turn off. It's got 5 side buttons, which is all I really need.

Speakers are trash, I actually have a much more powerful sound setup spread across the whole of my room, but that's not pictured, as well as a pair of audio technica headphones which are really nice.

I actually don't know AOC either, but it only cost around $250 and it has really great color clarity. 27" is correct.

This was sight training, not construction. Training your eye to see angles and be able to quickly reproduce them is incredibly important to drawing well. Knowledge of construction should invisibly inform your drawing, IMO.

It's beyond the issue of white balance. Fades and blends don't scan smoothly, and layered colors don't register either. If I shade flesh with a pale violet, it will read right on paper (and photographed) as a cool, grey shadow but the scan will show the violet pure.
