Tim Ferriss mostly, he helped me out through some darker shit in my life and helped me move past it. I'm not gonna become one of those millionaires he interviews though, but the 4hour series helped me get my shit together and loose about 100lbs. Aubrey Marcus is another big name that I stumbled upon recently that helped me realize that I should, at least for one day in the future, have an entire day that Is just fully planned and optimized to the max so I can create the highest amount of output and gain a shit ton of momentum

While I know one-third of this board hates him, one third thinks he's alright and the other third has no fucking clue who he is, His life and his work has left a big imprint on me. I'm not even a landscape artist, nor do I have a calling to work on landscape, but Noah's work has played a large roll up to this part in my journey. His life looks fucking fantastic too

pic related, It's from Alex and probably one of my favorite pieces on a personal level. It's not complex or anything, but I love the feeling of dread and unease it brings to the viewer right away

Ruan Jia.
I hate his terrible babyface.
I wholeheartedly detest his stale, medievil-nostalgia barbie posters to the fullest.
really, if I'd be granted the wish to knock out a spectacle wearer, it would be this guy, and i'd pay the ambulance.
this ugly little ball headed shit with his leather jacket.

I was just at one of his houses in Buffalo NY.

We learned about him in art school when I was in 6th grade. The story of how he waited till the clients were literally on the way to the office before he actually drew out the fallingwater plans kind of ruined me forever. It was like "well if Frank Lloyd Wright can just bullshit and faff about until the last second and then in a panic make something super innovative and world-famous, I probably could too!

Fallingwater is procrastination propaganda.

I like how you feel the need to stress how much of a malignant illiterate faggot you choose to be. Nobody will ever care about how you choose to NOT read something. You are here to consume ads and generate revenue for the website. You're a consumer. You mean nothing. I don't care if you can't read. I don't care about who you are or what you do you sniveling impotent cuck.

Nobody will ever miss you. Nobody will notice your absence. You're going to miss everything fun in life and die alone. You are your own curse.

lol. not everybody can bullshit a falling water.

He's an architect. back in those days they had more control. Nobody idolizes FLW because he procrastinated, if thats the only part that stood out to you, you need to slow down then. But yeah, architects see buildings before they design them. The actual drawing of plans and sketches is just motions to go through. You could call it a visualization ability - if you want me to be current with this boards meme speak.

>Nobody idolizes FLW because he procrastinated,
I kind of did. At the time we were learning about this I was already pretty much all about using the anxiety from time pressures to motivate and energize creative production. Having a deadline and obsessing about the project for weeks or months and then spastically blasting it out when there's no time for revisions is something I personally have always related to.
> if thats the only part that stood out to you,
Well yeah that and cantilevers and stuff.
>You could call it a visualization ability - if you want me to be current with this boards meme speak.
Yeah by IQ standards it falls under the spatial reasoning questions. Spatial visualization ability.

I related a lot to his ability to have everything visualized and stuff but I was always thinking about filmmaking, not architecture. idk I was a pretentious faggot in middle school. Got big brain numbers on the IQ and multiple intelligence tests when it came to spatial reasoning and that made me gay for dudes like FLW and Kubrick who were known for obsessively visualizing and bullshitting before finally executing on a project and whatever.

But it was mostly just be being a lazy self-important faggot that used FLW to justify why I didn't do shit.
