I'm not too good at design yet, so I thought of telling a bit of a story with the idea instead.
It's very rough so it might not read all too well. But as soon as I saw the thread the idea popped into my head.
So I had to try, sketch it.

Trashy drawing.
Trashy practice of the fundamentals.
But I have everything I need, I just gotta keep goin at it.
I’m trying to learn to draw the figure from life
I keep reverting to contor drawing when I know better.
I need to learn how to measure.
It still hasn’t clicked with me yet how to start, how to put down the first line.

Thanks! I should be trying to clean it up but I'm drained from trying to work through Scott Robertson books as of late, if I manage to push through them, I'll see if I get my energies back.

Well, I personally look for lines that define the motion or gesture, but any line you put down, all the others would work in relation to that one so just pick the one that stands out the most for you and notice how the others compare to that one, are they larger or smaller, how much? Are they parallel or perpendicular, what kind of angling? go like that.
