It's like a combination of several books, the subtitle is "Technical Drawing for Shadows, Volumes, and Characters". It's like a combination of several books: Scott Robertson's How to Draw and How to Render but with figures nude and clothed, some aspects of Framed Ink/composition, cast shadows from How to Render for shadows in compositions, and rendering of characters and environments. It's a very nicely printed book. I'm not going to buy Framed Ink or How to Render so it seems like a fine compromise.

Basically, tomboys are girl that act like a boy. So about appearance, she has body of a girl (may be more muscle if she is sport type) and wear boyish clothes. And in actions, draw boyish pose instead of girly one. There's nothing special, I think.

I think that's because the setting is better with the old Versus and Stella. Luna may have a big role in the world of FFXV but I find her character is weak, there's not much of her story (even in the movie). She died mid game anyway.

And I don't find many art of FFXIII Versus except some render of Noctis, Stella and some awesome trailers.

It's just sad when you compare to something like FFXIV which has 4 artbooks with with combined 1300 pages of nohting but art.

Best book: Perspectiva - Horia TEODORU in Italian, there's also a Russian version. I dunno why it's not in English because it's simply the most comprehensive book on perspective I've ever come across.

Worth it if you can read either of those languages. Or you can OCR it and use Qtranslate or something for reading.

I know this might be the wrong thread to post in but I don't see any related threads so here goes. So I bought a new tablet and I need some good tutorials on digital painting and rendering. I've been watching speed-paints on youtube and learning from them but I kinda need something concrete. I also downloaded some traditional courses on painting but some materials exclusive to digital would help.

I found a link on baidu long time ago. Most images in the book are like screenshot from the movie and all the text are japanese. So like the anon said, I don't think it's will help you guys. You can search Kazuo Oga on youtube, there're some video of he painting with sub. That's more useful.
