A question that might be relevant to the Self-Promo thread: What do you think about Patreon? Regardless of its effectiveness, I find myself rolling my eyes when I see someone else has a Patreon, even if I also use it. It's the extra clicks and paywall that seem annoying to me. Maybe it's a contrarian thing and I just hate it because everyone is doing it.

youre really inconsistent with your work. you have cell shaded stuff, something inbetween and some rendered that lack impact(hue,saturation/contrast) special effects like noise or Gaussian blur, sharpen. dont be afraid to use those, i would just advice against abberation. most of your drawings also have the same problem as firez figures. the only difference being is that you dont have muddy colors, but still a poor selection/not pushed further. also avoid white backgrounds(doesnt matter if its a sketch), atleast give a bit more effort to put something down.

All of you post on instagram so quick question, Do you upload through the app or is there some waay to do it on the computer? I tried following a guide on uploading from pc but got the post shadowbanned and had to delete and reupload them through the mobile app to get any views.

is there another waay to upload cause moving my images to my phone everytime i want to post is a huge hassle since you also have to use the phone keyboard for all the hashtags and stuff.

Just be careful with how much you write. I've had many bouts where my text will get flat out deleted when I have a lot to say. Speaking of, does anybody know why that is? People commission what they want to commission. If they don't pay for a background, there isn't one. I'm unhappy with my coloring style so if there's any personal pictures of my own, it's usually something I'm experimenting on.

I use Google Drive. It's a little bit of a hassle to move the pictures and then download them on the phone, but I want to move them on my phone anyway for other reasons. If you go into incognito mode and then developer tools and switch to mobile/tablet before logging in to insta, you get the plus icon at the bottom to upload from your pc. Otherwise there are chrome plugins. I still prefer my phone though since it gives me a better idea of what the user will see.

People do flats, cel shade, full-renders, and not every picture needs a background if all they're doing is showing off a figure. theres nothing wrong with making art to make money first. you're not "stealing" attention from anyone; people look up the shit they wanna see so cashing in on that is understandable. no one who wanted to see furries fuck was gonna look for something else instead; there's an unlimited space to post your art so you're not hurting anyone else's chances to get noticed. it's a shame it's come to that, sure, but ya gotta make money somehow and there's obviously a market for drawing smut.
