You don't need a scanner, as long as you have a semi decent camera phone (iPhone 4s and later) you have all you need.

- Put your drawing on a surface by a bright window (no direct sunlight though!).

- Take a picture of the drawing

- Download Snapseed (free app) and import the photo

- Play with the settings to make the photo pop more. You can do that easily by applying a subtle S curve in the curves setting (look up what an s curve is in photography, it's super easy), and adding some sharpening and/or structure. If it's too blue-ish tweak the white balance to make it warmer.

- Upload

Seriously, I have a scanner but I still prefer to take photos of my work this way, especially when it's for sharing online. The only other thing I use is VSCO if I want to add some mild filters to the photo, but more often than not I don't even bother.

I like to go back and forth. Sometimes drawing from a prompt can inspire me to draw something on it's own and that will take the place of something later on the list that gets me in a rut for the day. Yes, but I doubt I will keep up with the days. I tried it last year and gave up after 16 prompts. I'll drawing with a better system in mind. One idea I have is that I will do a bunch of practice drawings on one side of the page and the final will be on the other. A problem I have with drawing is that I keep trying to make only masterpieces and never any studies or practices. Everything is placed on the final page and if something doesn't work than I either spend hours trying to fix it without knowing what I am doing or simply hope no one will notice.

Yeah, I just bought that and only started doing inking for the first time. I don't have any technique so I just come up with whatever I could on the fly.
