Chris sold it for $1500USD to a /v/ anon in Australia. And then spent the money on a gold necklace for his mother, extras thrown in with the totem (t-shirt, transformer toy, etc) and toys for himself until there was nothing left after ebay fees. Then the buyer had to open up a "did not recieve" case with Chris and paypal put a $1500 hold on his account, putting him in the red.

Chris finally shipped it after weeks of the buyer waiting in two boxes scotch-taped together with trash as packing.

Chris' mental health has worsened severely the past year. He believes he is married to two of his hedgehog pokemon characters (Cryzel Rosechu and Magi-Chan) and that every character that pops into his mind is real in another dimension that he can astral project into.

Some sick individuals realized they could take advantage of Chris' delusions and extorted him. They lured him into a discord chat, built a relationship with him and then claimed to have the ability to change his fictional world. Josh Wise spent hours fictionally torturing Chris' characters causing him to have a mental breakdown and send him money and even punch his own mother to protect his hedgehog pokemon and ponies.

I'm over simplifying all of this. It's a giant rabbit hole to go down.

And no, $6000 is an accurate total of what was criminally extorted from Chris. He was smart enough to keep all of the receipts.

In a way, it makes Sonichu a special piece of art. The artist's sufferings are reflected through his work.
