This is wrong
Go digital as soon as you understand values and have practiced enough to have decent draftsmanship that will transfer to digital. Color, hue, saturation, and some other things are actually unintuitive and way too much hassle to do in traditional. It's much more straightforward and transfers pretty well back into traditional once you learn to see things in those terms.

This is one thing that seems frustrating when talking to anons here that have this expectation that after you've put in the hours to do something interesting or well executed or whatever that that means everything you do has to be at that level. Just seems super unaware of the literal time expense and labor and stuff or whatever.

Used to cause me a lot of anxiety about what to do after I made something that I considered good or almost "finished" or whatever. Production slows down because there's suddenly a higher pedestal now or something. I think its probably good to maybe set out to make a piece of shit with or right after you do a bigger thing or something you think is good.

Any production is better than none.

Like I did kimnihilation and the next day when I was looking at it I really liked whatever the fuck happened (I was watching Annihilation when I painted it). And was like shit and started to get depressed so I did another fuck you pass on pic related and felt like I skipped the slump.

And then I think same day did pic related which is also close to being one of I think my "best" ones. Like I did something that was altering my focus in a cool way, did a quick meme attack to goof away the mania/anxiety or whatever, and then focused back onto something more traditional or whatever that I could plow into.
