I will tell you want thing anon, they aren't all that great. The ones I've met are either TOO liberal and you will constantly feel like you're being cucked by her hippie friends. There's also the fact that they like to draw nude people so other males (and females) use that as a leeway to get into sexy chats talking about "anatomy" and shit.

And there's also the fact a lot of them are too AUTISTIC I mean passionate about art and will probably prefer to be drawing than to spend time with you, I liked one girl who authentically forgets to reply messages because she's painting 24/7. Also they like to suck artist's dicks in a metaphorical way and talk too much about art and it just comes across as annoying but that was my experience.

Oh right, I did meet one artsy chick who is the most talented person I know and she isn't artsy at all, I like her. But she only dates the hottest, tallest Chads and goes to parties. Still, it's very atypical. For a girl with so much raw artistic talent, she never talks about it in conversations and you wouldn't know she does it without asking her, it's like she simply sees it as a job. More people should be like that.

I don't understand why someone would want to date a artist? Especially another artist.

I always hated how many people hit me up because I'm a grill and I like to draw. To find out and get disgusted with how hateful, warped and genuinely disturbed I can be.
Majority of all the art girls are either mentally unstable or too campy and those feel too insincere about art.

I mean, if your relationship is something both of you find meaningful then you're absolutely right to not want to give it up for petty reasons, but statistically speaking you're supposed to feel like you deserve better, since there are more economically successful men than succesful women and you consequently have a huge af dating pool of dudes who are even better off financially than you.

But I honestly don't give a fuck about money. To me it's hardly a factor determining whether someone's successful. I come from upper-middle class and my family was all torn up by toxic arguments about who earns more. I don't want any of this in my relationship, I just need someone who will be supportive of me no matter the financial circumstances. When me and my boyfriend started dating I had just been fired, with no perspectives of making it in the creative industry. And he was there for me regardless, my dear diary...

I dated a girl a few years ago that drew absolutely amazing skilled furry art.

At some point in that relationship I didn't feel like going into her work with her one day becuase I was tired and didn't want to socialize with all her corowrkers. A week later she wrote a message on behalf of her coworkers because she was mad I didn't visit her work often enough..which was on the complete other side of the city. She took it as I didn't want anything to do with her male coworkers and that I must have hated them or something.

Just one of many examples of the crazy shit women do to argue.

I saved this one for a good laugh/reminder every now and then.

I'd be excited! I rarely meet someone whose better than me and also trying to do the same kind of art I am, usually the better artists are working in completely different mediums or art styles. It'd be great meeting someone else who does the same kind of art and has similar goals, I'd love to analyze their workflow and mentality as they draw, check what tools they're using, It'd definitely motivate me to keep up the pace and bridge the skillgap between us.
If I was the better one, I'd hope she feel the way I would. It'd suck if she felt jealous or bad about her art, but as long as she's willing to improve I'd always enjoy teaching her and giving her pointers.

Although, I think I could also end up feeling jealous if the person I met was miles better than me. If they were Ruan Jia tier with their rendering, I'd definitely be shocked by the gap in knowledge and skill. I'd probably become an annoying leech watching them 24/7 and shamelessly asking constantly how'd they manage to do xyz and want them to hold my hand through the entire process from sketching to final render of a painting.

Well we stand out, most people don’t have any real passion to be creative. I wouldn’t have had as many relationships if I wasn’t a painter. The down side is women don’t really know what they want until they’re past their mid 20’s. So I could see why some guys avoid relationships at times. Too many flakes and cheaters.
