I don't know where you live but try looking into local events like craft fairs/farmer's markets. Deers and geometric patterns are kind of in and maybe if you spray painted it rose gold or white some 20-30 year old will buy it. Honestly I think it's more of a size issue. It looks to be about three or four feet long and five or six feet high, and that's a lot of space to take up for room decor that would go in the corner. I would predict something like this would be between 400-500 usd.
If it's weatherproof, I can see someone decorating their backyard with this, maybe letting vines grow through it. People put the gaudiest things in their gardens. If you made some that were a maximum of two feet tall, it'd be cool floor decor for an upper middle class house's entryway.

For example, I charged 750 USD for the tcg illustration I attached. It could have gone for more or as low as 350, depending on the client's budget. I always research my clients and adjust my rates accordingly. I recently did an illustration for Razer and got paid 3k+, which seems nuts, but the deadline was tough and among big names like that it's almost below average. By the way, I charge around 300-400 USD for private commissions, which seems a little expensive for my skillset but I still get enough to fill gaps.

u need to have stronger value, ur colors end up mixing so much the value difference becomes too minimal, if you greyscale the thing everything becomes hard to look at even more.
Just remember default yellow is always freaking bright, default red is pretty drak actually and sky blue or cyan is actually bright and cadnium blue is the dark shit. Pure base colors to color have inherent value to them in terms of wat we consider true colors, mixing them diminishes the chroma and value.

I’d consider either committing to hard graphic lines/shading or soft lines/shading, because hard lines and soft shading don’t always mix well. i personally haven't been able to get through any artbooks other than perspective made easy. I think its best to just study photos and use anatomical drawings to get a better idea of construction. Visualization is huge for me but i know other extremely capable artists who claim they cant do it at all, its different for everybody. What's important is to just keep drawing and for the love of god find references when you're having trouble with something, dont waste a decade on trial on error like i did.

What would you say makes it so ugly that's unappealing? I usually don't put my art on blast because I don't do it enough of it. Like most people, I learned how to draw from cartoons and taking a step back from that has been a journey that I haven't really started yet.

Start on that journey. There's nothing wrong with learning from cartoons, but those alone wont give you the technical foundation to assist you in making concious decisions about how to portray your subject.

To answer your question, the problems that make this drawing in particular unappealing is your anatomical mistakes, particularly in the neck, shoulders, breasts, and ribcage. Take time to learn how all these parts interact and should look. Check the sticky for anatomy books, and start drawing from life.

One thing I'm noticing (aside from the guy with mental illness, spamming) is that the vast majority of you guys have no idea about living wages or realistic rates and are hellbent on underselling themselves, and especially encouraging others to undersell themselves out of sheer contemptment towards anyone they perceive as competition. You realize what this does to an industry, right? You realize what you're doing to yourself, right?
I'm glad I'm out of the game and managed to go independent a few years ago.
