No, I just can't draw clothes.

>> No.3580282

What does NSFW mean? I draw naked people. Obviously employees shouldn't be looking at erotic images at the workplace, and sometimes naked people are erotic. But if I feel like drawing naked people in the privacy of my own home, who cares? Placing a massive taboo on naked people is stupid.

I'd love to draw furry porn 24/7.
Winning loads 'a money for it is just a secondary effect.

But I rather begin once I become stable in life with a professional title and a stable income from a company or something. Can't afford dropping out of college, as much as I like art.

things that wouldn't be safe to view at work
not things that you just draw at home. there is no taboo there, it's just a saying to mean if you got caught by your boss looking at it at work you'd be up shit creek.

It wasn't really an issue until phones with internet and social media apps became more prevalent. Then people started making it the artist's problem when they shouldn't be viewing personal things at work because they're goofing off.

desu i consider doing this sort of thing, i hear people saying they make money and stuff doing it, but is it worth it? is it possible to do something like this as just a weekend chore?

Porn is one of my most favorite things to draw. I don't wanna be an lgbt sjw furry artist though.

>> No.3581029

I started drawing weird fetish art a few months ago and I fucking love it. Its gotten me to try doing a bunch of stuff I never did before. Really forced me out of my comfort zone, so I feel its actually helped me grow a lot as an artist. I actually try to approach my work with some degree of creativity though; I don't just draw flavor of the month fandom characters. More entertaining to work with my own dumb creations most of the time.

Also being afraid of lgbt sjw whatever in 2018 is dumb as hell. I just let people do what they want as long as its not hurting others. Easier to enjoy life that way.

yes, the potential profit is so high for doing literally nothing except drawing 2 to 3 pics per month, that I will literally play a character on tumblr for the whole world to see

I started drawing smut, because I've always been a character focused artist and I suck at doing landscapes and backgrounds in general.
So because of that I wanted to make my art marketable and smut seemed the obvious reasons (Disclaimer, I used to work in a game dev studio and I hated being a concept artist, so I left that and went freelance instead.)

I enjoyed drawing smut art from the start, but nowadays I simply love it.

It's not what I want to do. It could definitely be more enjoyable, but there are quite a few aspects of it that make it kind of bad. Most of them are concerning the clients.

The sort of stuff you're asked to draw is just terrible. As an artist if you're going to be drawing porn you generally want to just draw some standard intercourse, maybe even about characters from this or that franchise. But commissioners will usually want their terribly designed OC, and they'll want them doing some ridiculous shit. It's not everyone, it's about half the people, but that means like about 50% of what you do you'll hate doing and you likely wouldn't even post it anywhere.
Then some other people are just demanding beyond belief. They overestimate the amount of work the money they give you will get them, because in their mind they're paying for a final product rather than hiring a person to work, and that change in mindset gives them some pretty bad attitude.
Plus the pay is low. The large majority of people looking for art isn't going to be putting down four digits for you, but they'll expect an equal amount in work done.

Still, when things line together it can be alright. Some people are very understanding and ask for simple work and give ok pay, and then you get to sit in your room and jerk off and just draw stuff comfortably, but that's not everyone.

tl;dr its ok at times but it's not worth it. Use it as a stepping stone as you work up to an actual job.

this

as an exporn artist i had enought of it. It feels like beeing a whore or something. I got happy i had someone to pay me for drawing but then it was some girls fucking eachoter with horsecock...

I quit it stagnated my skills for years and now i want to get into the sfw field. If i fail i wonder if i will have to come back to this degeneration.

I draw niche fetish smut because i want more of it to exist. I don't make any money but it makes me happy to know that other people also like it.
