Can't help that much but look at how the line of balance is on the ref (in red) and how it is on your drawing. The circles is where I would look at, while trying to get it right.
Also, when the hip goes up on the left, the left shoulder goes down and vice-versa.
That should help you to get something more accurate and convincing.

Too long. I'm slow, mostly because I don't draw often, especially by /ic/ standards, and lack practice. I need sketches relatively detailed because I won't be able to see what needs correction during inking very well. The first character had three full redraws, the second had torso redrawn twice and the third took one full redrawing, then tweaking the legs further because I had no idea what to do with them.

the problem isn't "fat"
you can't improve if you don't know what your problems are. the breasts are lopsided, her pubic mound is about a whopping inch too low, the legs are not positioned at all like the refs' so you're not even drawing what you're seeing. the hands look bad because you're not seeing the shapes and forms that make up hands and arms which is why her arms look fat. really try to draw what you see and not just what you think you see, stylization are details that can be added later.

Yep, agree. And what I can do if I never never draw what I see? I read Keys to Drawing and Draw with Right Side, not help. For mahou shoujo goddess, I not even know WHAT I see...

Not the original artist but I think it's valid that they tried to deviate from the ref and came up with their own version while still getting the general gesture and pose of the figure
