Thanks for the help, anon, I tried do this many times but it always looked terrible, hope this exercises help me a little. I'm using a lot of guidelines for the perspective of the scenarios, what makes it really easy. but using then to draw humans is really hard at times and often can make then out of perspective of everything else what is really offputing.

It was a neat exercise, and there's plenty the original artist - who, again, likely isn't even around to see this - could learn from this thread and how people have handled the same problems they faced.

They could also choose to pretend that the glaring anatomy problems in their picture don't exist and deflect even the legitimate critique by dismissing it for being "mean", but if that's all it takes to kill their dreams, then displaying their work to the public might not be something they're ready for.

I genuinely liked the drawing and wanted to comment, especially when I saw people giving only negative feedback without mentioning that it's obvious the artist worked hard for years to have the skills he has, despite some flaws. In genuinely looks nearly professional.

Also I was in similar situations where anons just say negative shut purposely in nasty ways, which barely was even feedback. Just "anatomy looks bad, not gonna say how" comments.

Goldfinger's anatomy for artists used to be pretty popular, but i find it useless and sterile, Hampton's simple approach (pic related) is more of my thing
