I've been trying to figure this out again since i just graduated(BFA).
I'm stuck in between this want to do figure drawings and portraits, but also want to go to conventions and make fan art.
I just want to be able to make some art and get paid a bit.
I'm still not sure what my end goal really is but its something along those lines i think.

This was for my BFA show, they're roughly 3.5x4.
Mostly watercolor and ink.
My newer stuff is more illustrative, since i've been thinking of getting into fan art/illustration/printmaking.

Not gonna lie I'm feeling the first and last one, 3rd piece as well.
4th and 5th come off a bit try hard? They just don't seem to have the same quality the first and last piece do, not sure how to put it into words. They just seem a lot more intentional than the others. And the 2nd piece is just... yeah.

Yeah #2 i kinda bullshitted and talked about rorschach. My teacher was into it so it HAD to go in. That was also like the 2nd one i ever made.
Theres one i swapped out that not in there and i think that took out #2.

I find it a fun way to release stress and sadness, which is a main reason I really try to keep it light hearted and I haven't studied too hard.

I would like to be able to write some small comics though, not for popularity there's just some small stories I'd like to get out there. Its hard to get the motivation to study though.
