Just keep on drawing, the first improvement you will see is in your mentality, your drawings will stop being special in a good way, you will draw so much that simple sketches or pretty drawings will become mundane to you, and thats good.
The second thing is you will appreciate different styles and respect other artists more, thats due to knowing the effort it takes to do anything art related


After a while 2-5 months, start picking some material ( not too much at once ) to study from, if you truly wanna some base early on because you have no confidence, pick Dynamic Sketching

Never draw highly details BG before? Try it.

I think it's important to make a distinction between drawing without any rhyme or reason, and drawing with the intent to improve. Draw a bunch, sure, then find things you are dissatisfied with and try to improve them in future drawings.

Always assume you can do better and try to find out what you did wrong. Don't beat yourself up over it, of course. But there is a way to develop a healthy means to self-criticize.

It's very difficult to build a skill you've never developed previously. Working out for the first time when you're out of shape is rough. Learning math when you barely can do basic algebra is tough. Learning a foreign language you have no experience with is tough.

The hardest part as a beginner is getting into the groove of regularly applying yourself, but don't just haphazardly do dumbbell curls at the gym, you need to do research and learn how to best optimize your own personal routine. Whether its weightlifting or drawing or whatever.
