the idea that you have to attain a vague level of achievement to truly feel success is bullshit

you can feel happy now.

>> No.3529999

But I don't wanna feel happy like that
I want to achieve stuff

when i felt real happiness i drew less. it didnt matter. i also slept better and enjoyed other hobbies.

thats how you know you never really cared for art. more like you saw it as a lifeline out of hell.

get van goghs severed dick out of your throat.

If you are happy, then you are successful. If success is only measured ultimately by what's fulfilling to you for your life, if you're happy you then become successful.

literally what did he mean by this?

i got this teacher.

ahem.

setting goals is bullshit only if happiness is at the end of it and misery on the current side. the projected idea of happiness is a lie and is an ever shifting goalpost. it is a shitty goal in that it isnt a goal at all.

imho, art made while you are happy is much stronger.

OP's right. If you're actually not generally happy doing the thing, you're most probably not maximising your progress or thinking positively. Have goals, but evaluate your mindset my dudes
