Here's the edited one anons,the wings on her head were on another layer anyway so it was easy to remove.
Also I admit the hairstrings looked kinda dumb,they were kinda too big.Tried to improve the rendering on the hair a bit too

Speaking as someone who used to paint like that to me it looks like they didn’t *really* understand the forms they just kinda painted some creases until it looked right. If the light source is bright enough to make the cloth that color on the highlight areas, most of the details would get blown out unless this is a super duper wrinkled dress. If we just go with it is a super wrinkly dress, even then the folds are just not...correct. Where is the wind coming from? Wind will direct the clothing creases right now it just looks like generic floaty wind with no effect on the dress like it was just made to crease like that. More importantly where is the light source? Is it behind and above her? Something very cool could be happening if it was, putting the wings in silhouette but having the light pour over her white hair and dress properly. But it wasn’t handled right. The back of the farther wing would be lit and the highlights of the dress would more like the sleeve and arm.
So instead the light isn’t really a direct light (based on the sort of gradient that’s happening on the hair and dress ) which means the backdrop should be a slightly darker color and everything should have less contrast

Way better, if you went with a black hair it would instantly be amazing, if you managed to pull it out decently, of course, working with black values can be extremely tricky.

Don't listen to >>3508532 he doesn't know what hes saying, the hair is incredibly well done, the only place looking a bit muddy is the dress because your brushstrokes were completely outta rhythm and harmony there.

Painting is very intuitive; even if you study it and are very methodical with your technique, at the end of the day you are still making multiple strokes in quick succession in hope they give a good form.

Telling someone to paint carefully, overthinking every stroke, is purely retardation and will only slow down the process overall, you will always need to simply ''feel the form'' when painting.

Yeah I just kinda painted in blobs and then added smaller brushstrokes on top of that until it looked right.I just recently started painting like this and I need a lot more practice until I figure out how should I render different materials.I never really did photo studies because just drawing always worked for me,but maybe I will try to do some fold studies now and try to really understand how folds work and stuff.My colors are not really good either because I always used layer modes in the past for light and shadow colors,and never really painted on a single normal layer.Btw the light supposed to be coming from above and behind her.
