Guys, I've been using Photoshop exclusively on my wacom desktop, but now I also use Surface book 1, and Microsoft's n-trig lags in Photoshop, so I've got Clip studio paint, thing is I'm using RedJuice's brushes and most of them are pretty low quality and don't fit my needs. Give me some inking/painting brushes to get used to the program please

what's your hardware like? I have the surface pro 4 8gig of ram i5 and photoshop doesn't lag when drawing. at least not until i go above 10000 pixels or have dual brushes with texture.

By default even after fixes, the pen lags, it's the n-trig, and how it work with Photoshop, also I hate the n-trig jitter, I used to have sp3 and 4.
If you haven't used wacom cintiq it might not bother you. Same with the pressure curve, it's better in CSP, as you can use their tool, Photoshop doesn't have this, and so you end up with Microsoft's tweak from the surface app, which is nothing like Wacom's curve.
All in all the stabilization and pen pressure tweak makes it feel like cintiq for me.

>inking brushes

search daub brushes or check brushes in the CSP community.

But in CSP the standard ones are fine too.

If the G-pen is too smooth you can fake texture setting the size to change random (with minimum size set at 70% or something like this).

Also the india ink ones are nice.
