Yeah a bit better but personally I advise getting rid of the excessive sweat and drooling. That's probably your personal style but the original char's ethos is clean lines and minimalist (but readable) expressions. Personally I'd advise keeping something similar to the big guy's face minus the sweat, but the little guy should look pleased by current events, if not downright cheeky.

Not him, but the giant one (dot) is probably strong enough to lift the smaller one up and fuck him, but then dude would probably be holding on to dots hands to keep balance in the air, so they pose still has to change. One thing you haven't mentioned are the legs. They're a little confusing to say the least.

I kinda know how to draw faces but I don't know how to draw different faces in this style. I don't want to you know, add nose for various types of face, it must be simple. So, I limited things with hair, head shape, eye types, height of the character and sometimes the race of the character (human, animal, note, monster). Any suggestions about that?
